Colorado

Nash was so excited to fly to Colorado to see Grandma and Grandpa.  He did amazing on the flights. He was so happy that he was 'high-moon' (as high as the moon).

These were some of the drums at the Gorilla exhibit.  They had a great time playing with them.  There was a scary incident with a huge gorilla, one that made all the kids cry (Mark included) but not Nash.  He wanted to see more.  He loved the gorilla's.

He was pretty wiped out from a full day at the zoo, the rodeo, parade, and swimming with Grandpa and Grandma.  He even jumped off the diving board all by himself. He was exhausted but not too tired to have a slurpee.

Summer Time

Hiking has been so fun for all the cousins. They are such troopers too.  We can easily do 2 miles with all of them. This picture was taken on the 4th of July.  We were soon asked to leave the mountain, because the fire jumped over to our side. We have all been so sad to not be able to spend time up there the past week.

Fearless Nash was determined to catch this spider when he found it.  When I realized that he wasn't going to leave it alone, I called in re-enforcements--Dad!  Good thing too, that spider was fast and nasty!! Nash loved it.
Spent some time at the Adventure Doom.  Nash loved all the rides until we rode on the boat (the one that goes back and forth and gets higher every time) That was too much for him. He was done and ready for home after that.  We all had a great time.

Long time awaiting

We decided to start posting on the blog again! The Nash has grown so much.  We are excited to show his amazing growth spurts and his corky sense of humor.
 Time to play catch up!
He caught a snake! (actually it was an old belt of some sort but he really thought it was a snake)  He carried it the whole time we were hiking.  I had to convince him to 'let it go' when we were done.

Aquabats! SuperShow is one of his favorite shows.  I made him a helmet and mask (the mask needs some work) so that he could run around and get the bad guys.

Roller Coaster time! He rode this for hours!

Nash loves anything with water.  Our waterslide is always a hit. The boys are crazy on it!

Happy First Birthday!

We had a 'Monster Mash' party for Monster Nash. Everyone got monster masks, monster cupcakes, and a monster to take home.

We never let Nash have sweets before his first birthday. He kept looking at Mom to see if it was okay to eat.

As you can see...he decided he liked it! There was nothing left!

He got a room full of presents and toys, but the ribbon was his favorite.

Helping with the move

Nash loved all the moving boxes. Unfortunatly, he was better at taking things out of the boxes instead of putting things in.

Nash had to look GQ for his last Sunday in our old ward.

He's walking!!

Nash is walking on his own and two weeks before his first birthday!

And...he's off!

Nash thinks he can walk. He is always trying to take off with his feet moving 50mph but his body not going anywhere. He may not quite doing it on his own, but he's really good with his walker. Mark like to "help" Nash walk a little faster. Mark's methods aren't ones I would recommend.
